The School aims to train specialists who have acquired theoretical, scientific and professional knowledge in the field of clinical pharmacy, pharmacotherapy and the use of health technologies, pharmacoeconomics and health legislation, with particular reference to the pharmaceutical sector, useful for carrying out the profession within the hospital and territorial pharmaceutical structures of the National Health Service. Specific areas of expertise include the management of drugs and medical devices, the production of drugs, including experimental drugs, information and documentation on drugs, supervision of health products, supervision of pharmaceutical activity.

Admission requirements: admission is reserved for those who have a degree in Pharmacy or Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies (prior to Ministerial Decree 509/1999) or a single-cycle specialist degree in class 14/S - Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy (former Ministerial Decree 509/1999) or a single-cycle master's degree in class LM-13 - Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy (former Ministerial Decree 270/04). To enroll in the School, possession of a diploma of qualification to practice the profession of pharmacist is also required.
